RICHIE BESWICK
Richie has coached at all levels across the Granite Hills program, showcasing his extensive experience and commitment to the sport.
As an athlete, he excelled as a four-year varsity player at Granite High School in Lacrosse and a three-year participant in Football. He distinguished himself as an accomplished Long Stick Midfielder (LSM) and found notable success in both sports at the collegiate level. During his time at Whittier College, Richie not only played Lacrosse but also continued his career in Football, further honing his skills.
Richie later took on the role of Head Coach at Granite Hills Lacrosse, where his leadership helped guide the team to an impressive CIF Championship victory in 2019.
HENRY DIAZ
Head Coach at Granite Hills High School and has accumulated extensive experience, having coached at the high school level for over 10 years. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Henry has also served as the Varsity Football Secondary Coordinator at Granite for the past 12 years, demonstrating his dedication to developing student-athletes across different sports.
As an athlete, Henry played three seasons of Varsity Lacrosse, primarily playing in the Midfield position, where he received impressive All CIF/League awards, was honored as Team Captain, and recognized as the Best Midfielder during his junior and senior campaigns.
Furthermore, Henry has actively contributed to the local lacrosse community by being involved with the Santee Youth Lacrosse League, where he held the roles of Board President and Head Coach, helping to nurture the next generation of players.
RYAN SHARPE
Ryan Sharpe, born and raised in San Diego and a Poway High School grad (Class of 2013). He played Division 1 lacrosse at Bryant University under legendary coach Mike Pressler, competing as a two-way midfielder. His time with the Bulldogs included All-Conference honors, 3x conference championships, and 3x NCAA Tournament appearances—highlighted by an Elite 8 run in 2014 after upsetting Syracuse in one of college lacrosse’s biggest upsets.
After earning his Finance degree in 2017, Ryan returned to San Diego, working as a Financial Analyst at General Atomics, then in small business lending, and now as a Mortgage Broker. “Coaching is my passion—I love teaching the IQ of the game, drilling fundamentals, and helping players unlock their potential.”
